Clean up efforts continue following an early morning fuel truck rollover on I-295 northbound at mile marker 26 in Brunswick.  It was reported the truck was carrying kerosene.  However, it was actually transporting 2,900 gallons of off-road diesel.  Approximately 2,400 gallons leaked as a result of the crash.  While the vehicle has been cleared, Clean Harbors is on scene  along with Maine DEP managing fuel cleanup efforts.

Motorists should expect delays and consider alternate routes according to a press release issued by Shannon Moss, pulic inforation officer for the Department of Public Safety, Augusta.
