Thomas Monot, 42, Portland, was arrested today and charged with the robbery yesterday of the University College Union, at 391 Forest Avenue.  He was arrested at 1:30 pm today in the 700 block of Forest Avenue.

He was seen walking in the area when officers recognized him as being wanted for violating probation.  He was taken into custody without incident.

He is being held without bail at the  Cumberland County Jail.
