Trumpy’s negatives continue to increase because of his handling of the pandemic according to MorningConsult, a polling company, based in Washington, D.C.  By a nearly 6-1  margin, people 65 and older say it’s more important for Trumpy to address the spread of the pandemic than to focus on the economy.  As Trumpy increasingly signals interest in prioritizing economic interests, seniors are growing critical of his approach.

In mid-March, this group approved of Trumpy’s handling of the pandemic at a higher rate than any other age group, with a net approval of +19.  A month later, seniors’ level of support has dropped 20 points and is lower than that of any age group other than 18 – 29 year olds according to MorningConsult.

In defiance of Trumpy’s own guidelines, the Governor of Georgia announced today that starting this Friday, some businesses will begin to open with more opening up next week.  Famously now, Republican Governor Larry Hogan was able to get 1/2 million testing equipment from South Korea.  His wife, who speaks the language, was able to consummate the deal.  This despite Trumpy saying that everyone who needs a test can get one.  Really?  Oh, and what about the meat packing industry in the mid-west that did not institute stay-at-home policies?
