The Current Cover of THE ECONOMIST Magazine Depicts a Voters Worst Nightmare:   One Con Artist vs. Another Con Artist.

“ByeBye Susan” Bumper Magnetics (Not Stickers) Can be Purchased at Kurier, 247b Congress Street, for a Mere $3.00 Each.

Trumpy calls the coronavirus a hoax.  He’s accused the Democrats of creating this hoax since they failed in the Russian probe and in the Ukrainian Senate trial to remove him from office.  Now Democrats are trying to use this health threat as another way to topple his administration he and  Jr. charge.

Many Portlanders are taking this health threat more seriously than he appears to be doing. They are listening to the muted voices of medical professionals.  Trumpy is minimizing the health threat to calm the stock market  and quell its free fall.  This past week was the stock markets worst week since 2008.

As reported previously herein, Walgreens communications director, Bill Caruso, did not respond to several telephone inquiries about the supply or lack thereof of face masks for public consumption in the Portland area.

This blogger visited three Walgreens in Portland today to check on their face mask supply.  None of three had any in stock.  However, the store on Congress Street at the base of Munjoy HIll is expecting a shipment of them on Tuesday, March 3rd.  A staff member said he’s hoping to receive 60 of them, but doesn’t know what will actually be in the order.  Last week that Congress Street store received 60 and they were sold within hours.  The other two stores were less certain about when  shipments with the coveted masks from their warehouse would be received.

These masks do not prevent the public from getting the virus, but do aid in preventing it’s spread to others. The cost is about $7.00 to $11.00 per box.
