Three adults have been arrested for agggravated drug trafficking in Edgecomb according to a press release received from the Maine State Police late this afternoon. The three are: John Andretta, Jr., 36 of Edgecomb; Jeanna Gustafson, 42 of Edgecomb; and Wyatt Cannady, 21 of Dorchester, MA.
For the past month, the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency Mid-Coast DRF has been conducting an investigation into the sale of cocaine base from a residence in Edgecomb.
On Wednesday, September 3, 2025, MDEA agents obtained a search warrant for the residence of John Andretta and Jenna Gustafson at 8 Wawenock Road in Edgecomb. With the aid of Maine State Police Tactical Team and Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office the warrants were executed yesterday afternoon. As a result of several undercover buys of drugs from the residence MDEA arrested John Andretta, Jr. and Jeanna Gustafson of 8 Wawenock Road Edgecomb and Wyatt Cannady of Dorchester, MA.
Andretta’s bail was set at $30,000. cash and he was also held for violaltion of probation. Cannady’s bail was set at $20,000. cash and Gustafson’s bail was set at $10,000 cash. All three are held at Twin Bridges Jail in Wiscasset awaiting their initial appearance.
As a result of the search, Agents seized $17,000 in suspected drug proceeds and 68 grams of Cocaine Base. The estimated street value of the cocaine is $6,800.
