Stabbing at Denny’s This Morning is Not Fatal

A 31-year-old man from Veazie, Maine was stabbed in the parking lot of Denny’s, 1220 Brighton Avenue.  The stabbing occurred this morning at 1:15 am.  The perpetrators fled prior to police arrival.  The unnamed victim was transported to Maine Medical Center where he is in stable condition according to a press release from the Portland Police Department this morning.

The initial investigation indicates the incident began as an altercation at PT’s Showclub at 200 Riverside Street.  Two groups of men were separated by staff and left PT’s.  They met again in the Denny’s parking lot where the stabbing occurred.

The Police Department is looking to speak with two suspects.  They are described as black males, about 5’9″, both with short hair.  The incident remains under investigation.  The Portland Police encourage anyone that witnessed the incident or may know the subjects involved call 207 – 874-8575.
