At 6:21 pm this evening, Portland Police Officers responded to  Franklin Towers, 211 Cumberland Avenue, for a reported stabbing.  The adult was ultimately transported to a  local hospital for treatment of non–life threatening injuries according to a press release from Jessica Grondin, city spokeswoman.

The suspect was described as a tall black man with short black hair wearing a red shirt  He was seen leaving the area in a dark colored sedan with two other subjects.
