Significant Drug Arrests Made at Franklin Towers Last Night

On Sunday, March 30, 2025, at 7:30 pm., the Portland Police Department successfully executed a search warrant at 211 Cumberland Avenue (Franklin Towers) with the assistance of its Special Reaction Team (SRT) leading to the arrest of three individuals.  The warrant was served as part of an ongoing investigation into suspected narcotics activity within the building.  Given the nature of the case, the SRT was deployed to ensure a safe and controlled operation.

Noorhussein Ibrahim, 39, of Westbrook, was in possession of 68 grams of cocaine base.  He was charged with Unlawful Trafficking in Schedule Drugs.  Ibrahim and Shane Leroux, 58, of South Portland, were in possession of 258 grams of cocaine HCL and were charged with Aggrvated Trafficking of Scheduled Drugs with an added charge for Leroux for Falisfying Physical Evidence.  The two wee transported to the Cumberland County Jail

Christopher Alan, 55, of South Portland was charged with Violating Conditions of Release and Refusing to Submit to Arrest Detention.

  1. One of the guys in the Franklin Towers drug arrest On Sunday was a resident for a few years. He has been a problem. Alot of people knew because he didn’t try to hide what he was doing. He should have been evicted years ago
