The 2011 Ford Fiesta Involved in an Accident on Munjoy HIll on Saturday Afternoon.  The Accident Happened on Congress Street, Near Sheridan Street in the Late Afternoon.

Yesterday, Sunday, September 6, at 3:37 pm., Jahudah Henderson, a 33 year old male from Portland was seriously injured when he was struck by a 2011 Ford Fiesta being driven by a 16 year old male from Limerick, while riding a motorized scooter.

The collision occurred in the area of Congress Street and Sheridan Street.  The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment of his injuries according to a press release from the Portland Police Department.  Henderson remains hospitalized,  although the seriousness of his condition has not been released.
