SeaWeed Co. announced today that it will be opening its first adult-use retail cannabis store in Portland on Friday, March 12, at noon.  The location is 23 Marginal Way.

The announcement  followed the receipt today of the final okay from the city of Portland to open. The state of Maine conducted its inspection of the property yesterday, Tuesday, March 9, 2021. SeaWeed Co.  was informed it had passed inspection at the time of its occurrence.  The company’s first location was opened in South Portland last October.

To start, the venue will be open:  Thursday, 12 – 8; Friday 12 – 8; Saturday 10 – 8; and Sunday 10 – 6.  The schedule will be expanded to seven days a week once it is fully staffed.
