A search for Wiley Davi, 57, around Peaks Island, continues today, Thursday, November 20, 2025 according to a press release issued early this afternoon by the Portland Police Department. Several members of the Portland Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Unit, along with Community Policing and other officers are involved in today’s search. Maine Marine Patrol is also active in the search today.
At this time, the investigation has not revealed any evidence of foul play. We continue to ask residents to check any outbuildings on their property, including sheds and garages, as well as vehicles for anything suspicious. He has been missing since November 15th.
Mr. Davi, 57, has been an English and media studies professor at Bentley University in Waltham, Massachusetts. The search has concentrated on the Island’s trails and wooded areas, whlle the Maine Marine Patrol is searching the waters along the Island. He is descdribed as 5 feet, 7 inches tall, approximately 155 pounds and has gray hair.
