The Maine State Police is assisting the Hampden Police Department which is still attempting to locate and check the well-being of Douglas Dunphy, 78.  Today, Wednesday, February 4, 2026, the search will continue of Mr. Dunphy’s property located on the Kennebec Road in Hampden.

Please avoid that area to prevent congestion which wll hamper search efforts.  Future media updates will be releleased as more information becomes available.  There is no risk to the public.
