The Scarborough BMV branch will reopen Thursday, February 16, after a weeklong closure due to water damage that resulted from recent bitterly cold temperatures accordint to  a press release from the Secretary of State’s office issued yesterday.

Last Wednesday a roof drain above the ceiling of the office broke, sending water cascading into the interior of the branch. Staff worked quickly to ensure safety of customers and ensure electronics were out of range of water pouring from the ceiling.

Branch staff had been reassigned to other area branhes during the closure time.
