The Roux Institute at Northeastern University Plans to Open its New Campus on the Site of the Former B&M Baked Beans Manufacturing Co. at 1 Beanpot Circle,  Portland in 2027.

Construction of the parking garage at the Roux Institute at the Northeastern University Campus in East Deering will begin on Monday, February 17, 2005.  Initial work includes driving H-piles to support the structure.  This work is expected to last for approximately 12 weeks during the daytime hours only.  No increase in traffic to the site is expected at this time.

The Roux Institute is currently located at 100 Fore Street in the WEX building on Munjoy Hill.  It’s future home is currently under construction at 1 Beanpot Circle, formerly the site of B&M Baked Beans. manufacturing site. The Institute is scheduleld to open in 2027.

The next neighborhood meeting will be held virtually on Thursday, March 13 at 5:00 pm.
