Three Banners that are the Centerpiece of a Reception Today at Congress Square Park.

You are invited to attend a reception with artist Ashley Page today, Tuesday, August 18, from 5:00 pm – 6:30 pm at Congress Square Park in downtown Portland.  Ms. Page will speak at 5:30 pm. about her installation there.

The occasion is the installation of three banners attached to park light posts in the park listing the names and portraying the faces of Black figures who have been murdered. The exhibition is called “In Memory of Those Taken.”

This is the first of four installations at the park’s “Art in the Park” Series.  There will be one installation each month –  August through November 2020.

Face masks are required.
