Any Doubts About This?

A rally protesting the Supreme Court’s overturning of Roe v. Wade will begin at Lincoln Park at 5:15 pm this afternoon.  Protesters will then proceed to nearby city hall to ramp up the  protest against the Supreme Court’s decision announced this morning.

In Maine, the right to an abortion is protected by state law.

This blogger believes that  this catastrophic ruling will hurt anticipated Republican chances of victory in the upcoming fall elections.  Regardless of a women’s political party affiliation, some religious affiliation and common sense, most women and their allies believe they have the right to control their own bodies and its health care, including reproductive rights.
