At approximately 3:36 am., on April 23, 2026, Portland Police conducted a traffic stop in the area of 1100  Brighton Avenue.

There were three occupants in the vehicle. During the stop, officers identified one passenger as Anthony Hertzler, 39, of North Falmouth, who was cound dto be in violaltion of his condiios of release after officers detected the odor of alcohol.  Herzler was arrested and charged with violating condiions of release and transported to the Cumberland County Jail.

The remaining two occupantds, a 15 year old male and a 16 year old female, were deermined to be missing out of Gardiner.  The Gardiner Police Department was notified to take custody of the juveniles.
