
A Display of the Illegal Drugs and Cash Found in the Possession of Pinsky When he was Arrested Last Week.
Marc Pinsky, 31, of Portland was arrested late last week for aggravated trafficking in schedule drugs.
On Saturday, April 13, 2024, at approximately 9:00 pm., Westbrook Police Officers responded to 140 Main Street, Westbrook, for a report of an impaired driver preparing to drive away from that location in a U-Haul truck.
Upon the Officers arrival and during the course of their investigation, they discovered a male subjet sleeping in the rear of the U-Haul vehicle. Marc W. Pinsky was determined to be wanted for outstanding arrest warrants, failing to appear in court on felony drug trafficing charges, as well as violating bail. Pinsky was arrested without incident.
As a result of the investigation, the following items were seized from Pinsky and in a bag he was in possesio of: 300 grams (109.ounces) Fentanyl; 140 grams (4.9 ounces) Cocaine; 21 grams Methamhetamine; 2 handguns; $2,000 in suspected drug proceeds. The approximate value of this seized drugs is $30,000.
Pinsky was transported to the Cumberland County Jail where he is being held without bail related to these new drug trafficking charges Each of his outstanding warrants for bail set at $1,000. cash each.
An MDEA agent was requested and responded to assist Officers with their investigations according to Shannon Moss, Public Information Officer, for the Department of Public Safety, Augusta.
