Portland High School, Cumberland Avenue, Has a New Football Coach: Sean Green

Sean Green has been hired as the new head football coach at Portland High School it was announced today.  Previously, he was the winning head football coach at Cape Elizabeth HIgh School.  And before that,  he coached the Deering High School team and also Portland’s middle school football team.

Green said his vision for Portland High School is to develop the footbal lprogram into the best high school program in the s tate.  He has always encouraged his football players to be leaders in their classrooms, hallways, community and on the field.  Coach Green played college football at Bridgewater State University.

Coach Geen replaces Jason McLeod, who stepped down as Portland High School head footbacl coach in November.
