Portland Foreside Development Company, developers of 58 Fore Street on Munjoy HIll, has announced its plans to hold two neighborhood meetings to discuss its plans for Blocks 4 and 6 of the almost ten acres of waterfront property on the east end of Portland.

The first of the two meetings will be held at the East End Community School cafeteria, 195 North Street on Tuesday, December 20, from 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm.  The second neighborhood meeting will be held at the same place on Wednesday, January 11, 2023, between 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm as well.  The agenda for both meetings will be the same according to a notice issued this morning by Lauren Swett, PE, of Woodard & Curran.

A Major Site Plan application has been filed with the city of Portland Planning Division for Portland Foreside. The first phase of construction is complete.  The developer is proposing to continue the site’s development that includes over 400 residential units with a mix of rental apartments and condominium units, over 21,000 sq. feet of retail space and nearly 700 garage parking spaces to support the development.  The project will include extensive site landscaping with a focus on providing public accessiblity through the proposed urban neighborhoold to the waterfront.
