The Portland Food Co-op has announced that it will be holding a job fair on Tuesday, October 14th, from 10:00 am – 5:00 pm at 56 Hampshire Street on the East End of Portland.

The Co-op which expects to open at 290 Congress Street sometime this fall will be hiring 13 new staff.  That includes cashiers, stockers, deli help and department-specific staff for it grocery, produce and wellness departments.  There are both full and part-time positions to be filled according to a press release issued by Kevin Gadsby, General Manager.  For more information on the positions, please see the Employment Opportunties section of our webpage.

Applicants should stop by 56 Hampshire Street with a resume and three (3) professional references that day.

The Co-op expects to announce the end of October the date of its grand opening.
