Dr. Emily Isaacson, Executive Director, of the Portland Back Experience returns to the East End for the Second Year in a Row.

The East Bayside Portland Bach Experience (PBE) scheduled for today has been weather delayed to Sunday, June 5th according to Dr. Emily Isaacson, Artistic Director, of PBE.  The free event has been rescheduled  from 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm.  It is a shortened program than the original because it’s a school night according to Dr. Isaacson.  The event, with an emphasis on climate change, is to take place on Anderson Street in East Bayside.

The production is an adaption of “The Four Seasons” by Italian composer Antonio Vivaldi.  Its production this weekend is a collaboration of composers, scientists and data analysts from Australia who wanted to reflect climate productions in sound so they developed an algorithm that was location specific, geogospatial climate modeling for the year 2050 to alter Vivaldi’s original score according to a press release issued by Dr. Isaacson on May 23, 2022.
