The city of Portland has announced there is a citywide parking ban for Thursday, February 23 starting att 10:00 pm and running through 6:00 am, Friday, February 24.  Vehicles left on city streets after 10:00 pm tonight can be towed at the expense of the owner.

“As of about 8:00 am, Congress Street and Route 1 North were bare of any snow.  Those roads were clear  Few people were out driving this morning.  It appeared that most stores on Munjoy HIll were closed,” said this blogger following a several hour car tour of the area.
