Portland Parking Ban in Effect for Tonight.

By Carol McCracken  (Post # 2,292)

The City of Portland has announced that there will be another parking ban in effect starting this evening, Friday, January 30th at 10:00 pm and running through tomorrow, Saturday, January 31st at 6:00 am.  This will give city crews time to clear the streets once again.  Any vehicles left on city streets during the ban will be towed at owners’ expense.  And that is an expensive prospect not to mention the inconvenience of it all.

You know the drill by now!  Except for this new wrinkle in it.  Vehicles must be removed from these off-street parking spaces or risk being towed anyway.

Cutter Street and the lots therein remain one of the most convenience spots on the Hill for residents as well as a section of the Eastern Promenade designated for that purpose.
