Police Seeking Additional Witnesses to Tukey’s Bridge Homicide

Portland Police are asking several potential witnesses who were in the area of Tukey’s Bridge on the evening of August 5th to come forward as investigators continue to seek information about the homicide of Julian Nadeau, 21.

Investigators are particularly interested in speaking with the following people who may have been in the area on August 5th between approximately 9:30 and 9:45 pm:

Three males who were walking inbound on the path on Tukey’s Bridge.  The men were wearing white T-shirts and were described as possibly Hispanic or Latino.  They were reportedly speaking Spanish, although at least one of the men spoke English;

A man and female riding bicycles, both wearing helmets, who were described as being in their early 20s.  They were biking inbound on the Tukey’s Bridge path, coming from the Back Cove area; and

The driver of an older, light tan or gold-colored pickup truck, possibly a Nissan or Toyota, who had pulled over in the area on Tukey’s Bridge prior to police arrival.  Investigators were unable to speak with the driver at the time.
