A 38 year old Asian woman was harassed yesterday afternoon in the area of 471 Forest Avenue as she and her children were sitting in her vehicle according to a press release issued by the Portland Police Department today.

Around 2:00 pm., an agitated white male, believed to be in his 40s, made eye contact with her and started yelling at her to “go back to where she came from.”  As she attempted to move her vehicle to create distance between her and the suspect, he kicked her driver side mirror, snapping it from its bracket and piercing a large hole in the frame.

The woman reported that she has previously seen the suspect frequently walking along Forest Avenue.
