This afternoon the Portland Police Department added two more names to the list recently released of businesses in Portland robbed.   The total is now 12 businesses. They are:

8/19 – Squeaky Clean Laundry, 64 Washington Avenue,

8/19 – Others Cafe, 15 Monument Square.

In some of these burglaries, there was no sign of forced entry into the business and it is believed they were left unlocked.  Last night  officers found two restaurants that were insecured.  One where a door was unlocked and the other had ana open unsecured ground level window.

The Police Department maintains the robberies may not be related, although they are similar in nature.
