Yesterday Trumpy announced that he directed the Navy to shoot down Iranian gunboats that harass US ships.  He first made the announcement on Twitter at 8:00 am and repeated it at his daily cornovarius briefing turned political rally.

But NBC news is reporting this morning that Pentagon officials have reported they’ve not received a directive from Trumpy indicating a change in policy.

Do you think Trumpy will fire the Pentagon for contradicting him?  Like he demoted Dr. Bright for not promoting Trumpy’s favorite but unproved drug in the war on the COVID-19?  How much did Trumpy expect to make from promoting this drug that has been determined to have serious side effects, including heart failure?
