Anyday now, a portion of Walnut Street will become one way traffic, reported Michael J. Bobinsky, Director of Public Services for the city.   Between North Street on the Hill and Sheridan Street, on  Walnut Street, there will be only downhill traffic permitted, Bobinsky said recently.

Just as soon as his crews get the signage up, it will become effective.  The proposal was passed by the City Council recently.  The idea was suggested at this fall’s District One meeting held at the East End Community School.
