OccupyMaine filed today its Reply Memorandum in Support of Plaintiffs’ Motion for Preliminary Injunction with the Clerk of Cumberland County Superior Court.

A hearing has been set for Tuesday, January 24th at 9 am before Justice Thomas Warren of the Maine Superior Court. It will include live testimony and documentary evidence in addition to oral argument by counsel, John Branson, on the legal and factual issues. About six people are expected to testify on behalf of OccupyMaine. The hearing is expected to last into the early afternoon.

Occupiers maintain that by denying them a permit to stay at Lincoln Park, the City has denied their First Amendment right to free speech.
