“They laughed at Obama and they said he’s a stupid son of a bitch,” reported The New York Times today in a front page article centered on Trump’s lashing out at critics of his Memorandum of Understandig with Iran. And there have been plenty of critics from both sides of the aisles across the country.
Tacky Trump has made no secret of his disdain for the highly regarded agreement Obama’s Secretary of State John Kerry, Wendy Sherman and others negotiated with Iran in 2015. So he shredded it.
Tacky Trump was determined to outdo the Obama agreement. So far he has failed to do that. Some bipartisan critics have called the Tacky Trump MOU, his “surrender to Iran.” One Republican critic called Tacky’s Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) the worst blunder in American history. It’s a war he started and lost.
Rather, Tacky’s has focused on looting the US Treasury to benefit him and his family. And trying to get the color right on the Reflecting Pool which has turned green again despite a $14 million rennovation by Tacky. Incidentally, the American Blue Flag that Tacky had painted on the bottom of the Pool is already starting to peel accordig to one news source.
Both former President Barack Obama and his wife former first lady spoke at the star studded singers Grand Opening Celebration of his Presidential Center in Chicago. Whlle comments were clearly directed at the Tacky Trump, both were careful not to name him. Much of the celebration was carried on cable news today.
Messages of hope to save our democracy were on the agenda of the former President Obama and the former First Lady. She said that voting rights, hope, being a “decent human” being are among the choices that we have. “No one is above the law and no one is below it.”
The former president called on everyone to challenge themselves by rededicating themselves to the vaues we hold dear. He said there is more work to be done to achieve this. “Get up and do the work that needs to be done. The American spirit will see this nation through its present trials whose values are upheld by every former presesident here today, as well as John McCain and Mitt Romney.” A total of four past presidents attended the celebration including Obama.
President “Tacky” Trump was not inivited to the celebration in Chicago today. The official opening is tomorrow Friday, Juneteenth – a historic day in our history.
