The Space is Being Renovated for a Noodle Bar.

A Noodle Bar is under construction at the historic J. J  Nissen building on Washington Avenue in the East End of Portland.  An Oyster Bar had expressed interest in the site, but the Noodle Bar won out.  The new food venue in a smallish space replaces that of an antique and salvage store that downsized recently.

It’s in a space adjoining Hardshore Distilling Company that is expected to open in mid to late August.
