YOU are encouraged to participate in the NO KINGS 3 protest scheduled for Saturday, March 28, 2026 in Monument Square in downtown Portland, Maine.  Ir runs from 11:00 am – 2:00 pm.  And it is expected to be the largest protest yet of the two previous NO KINGS protests held last year. Over 3,300 similiar events are planned across the country tomorrow.

At the October 18, 2025 NO KINGS protest,  7 million people showed up.  It is expected that tomorrow’s event will be much larger.

“Our rights are being taken  from us in front of our every eyes.  In this moment of crisis, silence is not an option.  America has a long history, rooted in white supremacy, of suppressing the rights of people of color.  But our history also clearly  shows that people-powered movements are how we end authorization.

Freedoms were never handed to us.  They were fought for and won.  For generations, our nation’s communities have come together to demand and secure fundamental freedom and dignity for ALL of us – that’s why we’re so grateful that you’ll be joining us tomorrow at one of the over 3,300 NO KINGS 3 events across the country according to a press release issued by the NO KINGS team this evening.

Legendary activist and actress Jane Fonda will attend the flagship event in St. Paul MN tomorrow.  Today she gave an inspired pep-talk in support of the NO KINGS 3 demonstration at the Kennedy Center, in Washingto, DC.

Tomorrow, Saturday, March 28th, people from all walks of life, from all corners of the country will come together in the streets and online to share a simple but direct message.  WE DON’T WANT ILLEGAL WARS, WANNABE DICTATORS, OR KINGS IN AMERICA.  Our leaders answer to the people.  Because we the people, hold the true power.

And we’re not backing down. NO THRONES, NO CROWNS, NO KINGS!
