NO KINGS DAY at Lincoln Park is Part of a Nationwide Day of Defiance – June 14 2025.

Lincoln Park Will be the Site of the NO KINGS Day Rally on June 14th, Portland.

You are urged to attend the NO KINGS NATIONWIDE DAY OF DEFIANCE on Flag Day, June 14th.  The rally will take place at Lincoln Park from 12 noon to 1:30 pm, in Portland.

Instead of allowing the millitary parade and President Trump’s 79th birthday be the center of gravity that day, we will come together to reject corrupt, authoritarian politics in the United States.  The cost of the military parade is estimated to be $45 million.  We will create our own headlines!

This mobilization is inspired by the recent success of the Hands Off and May Day events in downtown Portland.  It is intended to once again motivate actions in towns and citizens in every state in the country.  Other locations in Maine hosting the event incllude:  Freeport, Kennebunk, Wells, Bath, Auburn, South Portland and Ogunquit.

“We’ve watched as the Trump administration has cracked down on free speech, detained people for their political views and defined the courts.  They’ve done this all while continuing to serve and enrich their billionaire allies,” according to the organizers of the NO KINGS DAY Rally.

“Chaos, corruption and cruelty are the hallmarks of the Trump administration,” says this blogger.  Over 1,800 protests across the country are planned for June 14 – the largest anti-Trump protest to date.
