Eight million people participated in the “No KIngs 3” protest yesterday, March 28, 2026 according to a press release issued this afternoon by the Indivisible Project based in Washington, DC. In addition there were 3,300 events taking place across all 50 states according to the same press release.
“Since our last nonviolent day of action in October 2025, we’ve watched President Trump escalate his attempts to rule through repression — deploying ICE agents, starting an illegal war and raising the costs of every day necessities. But yesterday, our message cut through the noise: power belongs to the people,” was the message from the Indivisible Project.
“So, THANK YOU. To the parents teaching their children that every voice matters, the neighbors organizing and uplifting their communties, the first time hosts and attendees who showed courage and those who have been showing up for every NO KINGS since last June. This moment is not just a milestone – it is our fuel to drive the next step behind our collective power. Keep the momentum going. This movement is just beginning,” ended the non-profit’s message.
According to an indepth front page article in today’s “The New York Times”: entitled: “Will Primal Scream of ‘No Kings’ Echo in Voting Booths?”: “Organizers said before Saturday that they were hoping to exceed the seven million people they said showed up at the “NO KINGS” rallies in October and the milions of people they said turned out in June.”
