New York Man Arrested for Agggravated Drug Trafficking in Oakland

Brandon Seegars, 26, of Bronx, New York, has been arrested for aggravated drug  trafficking in Oakland.

For the past two months, MDEA agents and the Oakland Police Department have been investigating suspected drug trafficking from a Lakeview Drive residence according to a press relese issued this morning by Shannon Moss, Public Information Officer for the Maine Department of Public Safety, Augusta.

On June 23, Agents secured a search warrant at 65 Lakeview Drive.  Brandon Seegars jumped out of a window in an atttempt to escape.  Rather, he was taken into custody. Once the residence was cleared, Agents conducted a search and seized 650 grams of Cocaine HCL, 13.2 grams Cocaine Base, 20.9 grams of Fentanyl and $3674.00 in suspecdted drug proceeds.

Seegras was arrested and is currently held at the Kennebec County Jail.  Bail was set at $75000.  Seegars is also on Federal Probation out of New Jersey for armed bank robbery.
