You are invited to attend a neighborhood meeting TONIGHT, Monday, March 23, at 6:00 pm on the proposed development of a seven story mixed use highrise building at 221 Congress Street.  The meeting will be held at 195 North Street in the East End Community School,  East End Community Center, O’Donnell Community Room.  The notice of this meeting for  tonight was received just this morning at 10:00 am by this blogger.

The city required meeting will provide an opportunity for neighbors to hear more about the vision for the project and engage in open conversation about the plans.  The presentation will be by GreenMars Real Estate.

Should you have questions in advance or are unacble to attend, please call info-greenmans.com or call 207 – 576-2964.  As stated previously, in many, many years of blogging, receiving these notices of meetings and posting them on my blog, this is the FIRST  time ever that this blogger has received such short notice (same day)  of the required city meeting.  Certainly, makes mhn.com  suspicious of why the developer doesn’t want the wider public to know of the meeting.  Why does this developer prefer to keep tonight’s public meeting a secret?  Why is the developer afraid of public scruitny?
