Richard Holt, 53, of Clinton has been arrested and charged with murder in the death of Stephen Killam, 47, of Fairfield. They were known to each other.

The deceased will be transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Augusta where an autopsy will be performed Wednesday.  Holt has been transported to the Kennebec County Jail.
