Veggies, frozen meats, flowers, cupcakes and much more can now be bought at the new Monday Farmers’ Market on Monument Square – pretty much anything you can purchase at the Wednesday Farmers’ Market you can now buy on Monday if you can’t wait until Wednesday. And it’ll stay that way until the colder weather sets in this November.

That according to Stephanie O’Neill who organized this new market day when she learned there was a long waiting list to become part of the traditional Wednesday Market. Disappointed and not wanting to wait until a spot became available, Stephanie called a number of friends to see if they were interested in starting a Monday Market. They were – very much so. There are now 23 vendors signed up to participate. The Monday Market runs from 8 am to 2 pm at Monument Square.

Stephanie who lives on a farm has her own cup cake baking business as well. Eggs and other ingredients in her yummmy cup cakes are grown or raised on her farm. The cup cakes are also for sale in the nearby indoor Public Market on the second floor. Please visit www.tulipscupcakery.com
