This year’s Memorial Day Parade begins at 10:30 am at Longfellow Square on Congress Street and proceeds along the street ending at Monument Square.  The wreath laying ceremony begins at 11:00 am at Monument Square according to a press release issued by the City of Portland.

The keynote speaker is David Olsen, VFW State Commander.

Other speakers include Ernest Shorey, Andrews Post 17 and Portland Mayor Michael Brennan.
