The public is invited to attend a public meeting to discuss a proposed project – a 10′ wide bike/pedestrian facility adjacent to Franklin Street between Marginal Way and the Back Cove Trail, including pedestrian signal improvements.
The meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, August 3rd at 6 pm in the Merrill Auditorium Rehearsal Hall located at Myrtle Street.
The purpose of the meeting is to listen to concerns, receive comments and answer questions from anyone with an itnerest in the project. MDot is particulrly interested in learning local views relative to project consistency with local comprehensive plans, discovering local resources and identifying local concerns and issues. Anyone with an interest is invited to attend and participate in the meeting.
If you can’t attend the meeting a set of plans will be on display at the Portland Public Services located at 55 Portland Street for viewing and comments.
