A force of nearly 100,000 in all 50 states is expected to march against Trump’s bilionaire agenda.
Across the country — from fruit fields in California to classrooms in Chicago, from kitchens in Queens to loading docks in Atlanta ——- working people are rising up. We are demanding a country that puts our families over their fortunes —- public schools over private profits, heathcare over hedge funds, and housing over homelessnes.
In just over 100 days of the Trump admnistration, we’ve already witnessed attacks on Social Security, medicare, Medicaid and on eduction; we’ve seen attacks on immigrants, trans people and communities of color; and we’ve witnessed a move to give tax breaks to the ultra-rich while workig families struggle to survive.
Other similar raliies are scheduleld for Freeport, Auburn and the Sagahahoc Bridge.
The event is orgaized locally by the Maine May Day Committee.
