Martin's Point Flies a Kite on the Eastern Promenade Today

A group of 14 employees of Martin’s Point Health Center flew a homemade kite on the Eastern Promenade earlier today and then ate a picnic lunch.    It was part of a quarterly celebration of the Compliance Department – of the prominent health care center – to celebrate the last quarter of work.

Diane Hill, director of the department, said it was the first time their celebration had been held on the Eastern Prom, but it was a good place since the theme of the picnic was “Go Fly A Kite.”  These quarterly celebrations are usually held in restaurants, peoples’ homes or in-house. 

There’s always a first time!
