Area That Was the Scene of Violence Early This Morning.

On Monday morning, November 16, 2015 at 12:23 am., officers responded to the area of Market Street and Fore Street for reports of gun shots.  Officers discovered a 22-year-old Westbrook man injured from an apparent gunshot wound.  He was transported to  Maine Medical Center for non-life threatening injuries.

An additional victim, a 23-year-old Westbrook man, was located at Mane Medical Center when he checked himself in for non-threatening injuries.  The victim reported he sustained stab wounds.

Officers observed the suspect vehicle fleeing the scene.  Officers observed the suspect vehicle fleeing the scene.  Officers located the unoccupied vehicle on Oxford Street between Wilmont and Pearl Street.  The vehicle was secured and towed to Police Headquarters for investigative purposes.

No charges have been filed in reference to the shooting pending further investigation.
