Today, Maine Senator Susan Collins (R) is meeting with President Trump to discuss the impeachment inquiry per a report by Politico.

Collins has been toting her role as a potential ‘juror’ in the Senate as a reason to remain quiet about the impeachment inquiry.

“Senator Collins says she can’t comment to the public about the impeachment inquiry or face constituents like me in a town hall to discuss the President’s quid pro quo but she will have lunch with the defendant.  This is unacceptable and we expect her to meet with us in a town hall recess.  We also invite her to join Mainers at any of her six state offices on Tuesday, the 26th from 12 – 1:00 pm.  We will be in Augusta, Biddeford, Bangor, Caribou, Lewiston and Portland.  She serves the people, but continues to fall in line with Trump and the party leaders,” wrote Follayttar in a press release moments ago.
