Grants from the Peaks Island Fund in the Maine Community Foundation (MECF) are available for nonprofits that assist the Island community. Organzations or projects must serve Peaks Island community members within the next year and have potential for continuing impact in the community.

The deadline to submit proposals is June 1st.

In 2022, the fund awarded $93,277. in grants to eight nonprofits, including:  Fifth Maine Regiment Museum, Home Start, and Illustration Institute.
