Maine Republican Chair Joe Stetkis Said This Evening on CNN Cable News that the Deicion of Secretary Bellows Will be Appealed in the Next Several Days.
Maine Republican Chair, Joel Stetkis, said tonight in a CNN cable news interview that the Republican Party will appeal the Secretary of State Shenna Bellows’ decision that Donald Trump is not qualified to be on the Maine ballot for a seond time under Section 3 of the 14th Amendment to the US Constitution.
Stetkis said that this decision should not be left up to one person; rather it should be left up to Maine voters. However, this is the way that the Maine system has been set up; like or not! Trump and his allies are well known for defying laws they don’t like.
Please visit previous post this evening for more background information on Secretary Shenna Bellows’ deision that Donald Trump is not qualified to be on the Maine primary ballot next year.
This is the way the Maine system is set up. This is why the Constitution specifically mentions that insurrection is a disqualification for office, and this is why Trump and the voters who follow him are constantly stirring up dust about the border. Trump’s relentless anxiety about people with no resources in their pockets, no place to call home, and no car betrays how much unaccountable confidence he had in his resources. The Constitution of the United States is a border he insists on crossing. If he wants to change it let him actually try.
thanks so much Robert for your insightful comment. I’m with you! Carol
