Lois’ Natural Market Opening at 47 India Street May 19th.

The long-awaited opening of Lois’ Natural Marketplace, 47 India Street, is in view!  The popular full-service favorite has scheduled its opening for Tuesday, May 19th according to an email from Dan Porta, co-owner with his wife, Lois.

The owners of the Marketplace had planned on opening their second location months ago.  But a number of unexpected problems delayed the opening until next month.  This store is the couples’ second store.  The first one is located in Scarborough and is more than twice the size of the Marketplace located on India Street.

While they won’t be able to duplicate all the products from the Scarborough store, they will build toward that said Dan Porta this morning in a telephone conversation. There will be a deli with soups and sandwiches for sale.  Prepared meals to go will also be available.  The India Street location will be open seven days a week – hours roughly about 7:00 am to 7:00 pm. .
