City Councilor Pious Ali Chair of the Committee.

Yesterday the Portland City Council’s Legislative Committee voted unanimously, 3-0, to recommend the city council send out the Ranked Voice Voting charter amendment to the voters at the primary election to be held in March 2020,

The item will now go before the full Council for a first read at its October 21 meeting and a final vote and public hearing at the November 18th meeting.

Councilor Pious Ali is the chair of the Committee.
