“We got him,” said Utah’s Governor Spencer Cox (R) at a press conference this morning at 10:00 am. The news was announced on cable news; both MSNBC and CNN. His name is Tyler Robinson, 22, from Utah. The suspect was taken into custody last night around 10:00 pm. His father recognized him and called a minister for “help.”
In recent months Robinson had become political. Recently he had talked of how Kirk was going to be in the area and how he “hated” him. Robinson was the oldest of three sons and an excellent student. Both of his parents are Republicans and Tyler was not registered with any party.
Kash Patel, FBI Director, spoke at the press conference, sayimg among other things that as of this morning 11,000 leads were received from the public. Director Patel pressented an outline of the timeline that led up to the arrest of Mr. Robinson last night.
It was also stated that there is much disinformation circulating on-line. Much of it coming from Russia and China. The public was urged to disregard this disinformation coming from abroad. According to experts on the matter, China in particular wanted to try to discredit the US from its overseas allies by distributing these lies on-line..
Governor Cox took the podium once again following Director Patel’s talk saying that in the last 48 hours he’s been as angry as he has ever been and as sad as he’s ever been. The Governor urged the young people in Utah to choose a different path. “We need moral clarity more than ever,.” The Governor said that he’d have hoped that the perpretrator of this tragedy would have come from someone from another state or country. But it came from within Utah.
“The “moral clarity’ that Governor Cox called for this morning should come from the ‘top: From the President. But that is not going to happen since the President has inspired most of the inflammatory rhetoric circulating in this nation currently,” charges this blogger. “The President has no morals. That’s clear.”
